Bronze Medals from the 44th Mathematics Competitions of Iran Won by a Student and a Graduate of IUT

Students from the IUT Department of Mathematical Sciences won two Bronze medals in the 44th national students' mathematics competition.

Mohammad Hossein Isfahanian, a student of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, won a bronze medal in the team section by gaining the rank of 23.

Amirreza Ghanizadeh Zarandi, Mohadeseh Zohreh Nasab, Zahra Bahranifard, and Narges Niknam are other members of the mathematics IUT team headed by Prof. Sajjad Lakzian, a faculty member from the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The team participated in the 44th national students’ mathematics competition hosted by Al-Zahra University.

Also, Majid Hamadi, a graduate of IUT, won a bronze medal in the individual section of this competition.

It is worth mentioning that students’ mathematics competitions are held every year by the management and supervision of the Iranian Mathematical Association among (mainly) undergraduate students of mathematics from universities across the country.
