Mobility Grants

Mobility grants enable young scientists to integrate in international research & development. It is available for Iranian and Swiss students and young researchers to spend short research stays in partner universities and research institutes.

 

Seed Money Grants

Seed Money Grant aims to develop new or consolidating existing partnerships between Iranian and Swiss institutions by supporting research theme that tackles challenges in Iran and Switzerland.

 

Bridging grants

Bridging grants offer researchers who have already successfully completed a joint project between Iran and Switzerland the possibility to continue joint research in order to prepare a grant application for a full joint research project.

Mobility Grants

Mobility Grants enable young scientists to integrate in international research & development. They help to build up new partnerships through personal contacts early on a scientist’s career and thereby make such partnerships more sustainable. Mobility grants are aimed at attracting young talent to Switzerland, and they encourage Swiss researchers to enhance their careers by spending time in an academic environment abroad.

Seed Money Grants

Seed Money Grant aims to develop new or consolidating existing partnerships with institutions in Switzerland.

Goals and objectives

The goal of seed Money Grant is to develop links between Iranian researchers and scientists and institutions in Switzerland. Seed money should be utilized to develop a long-term partnership between two institutions. Such research partnerships should be based on mutual interest and benefits.

This grant will support research theme that tackles challenges in the region of the partner countries (i.e. in Switzerland and Iran). Both monodisciplinary and multidisciplinary proposals are welcome. The first call for Seed Money Grant was announced in Spring 2018 and a total number of 16 research projects has been approved to be carried out by joint collaboration of Iranian and Swiss scientists. You can see the details of the 2018 Seed Money call at the files below.

Bridging Grants

Bridging grants offer Swiss researchers who have already successfully completed a project with a partner in Iran the possibility to continue joint research in order to prepare a grant application for a full joint research project (e.g. through the Swiss National Science Foundation, EU funding or a national or regional funding body). Bridging grants may also enable the intensification of joint teaching or curriculum development.
