According to the latest ranking of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) in 2022-2021, Isfahan University of Technology is among the top universities worldwide with 48 promotion steps compared to the last year’s. With the 694th position, IUT is ranked as the second top technological university and the fifth top university in Iran. CWUR has ranked 39 Iranian universities among 2000 top universities in the world in 2022-2021.

In the Times Higher Education (THE)-Best Universities in Asia ranking, Isfahan University of Technology is ranked 6th among the country's industrial universities, 11th among Iranian universities (comprehensive, industrial, and medical sciences), and 116th among all the top Asian universities.

This is the eighteenth issue of the IUT International e-Newsletters which is designed to expand the university's international scientific interactions with academic institutions abroad, aims to inform all faculty, students, and IUT staff about international events, educational opportunities, and research available in international academic spaces, News of visits and conferences, as well as bylaws and circulars related to international affairs, which can affect the international scientific interactions of outstanding academics.

According to the latest ranking of public universities under the supervision of the Ministry of Science in 2019-2020, which is revealed by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Isfahan University of Technology has taken the first place in the fields of social services, infrastructures and facilities among the Iranian technological universities.

Round University Ranking (RUR) revealed that Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) is in the second place in the ranking of the top universities in Iran after Tehran University of Medical Sciences. According to RUR in 2021, Isfahan University of Technology is the second top university in Iran with a global ranking of 216 among 867 leading universities in the world, and 12 Iranian universities in this ranking system.

The International Scientific Cooperation Center held a virtual meeting with the women faculty members of IUT. In this meeting, the experts at IUT_International talked about the scope of the center's activities and pointed to the existing international opportunities in various fields of science, especially opportunities for women. IUT_International experts also answered the questions that the women faculty members of the university had about international relations.

 The 18th Conference of Vice-presidents and Directors of International Centers of Universities and Research Centers as well as Science and Technology Parks of the Country was virtually held on May 9, 2021, hosted by the Ministry of Science. In this meeting, Prof. Dr. Hossein Salar Amoli, Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, emphasized the internationalization of universities as a platform to raise the level of standards and increase the tolerance capacity within the international arena.

Following the new MOU between IUT International Scientific Cooperation Center  of IUT and Limerick University of Ireland (UL), it is informed that University of Limerick has achieved the highest possible standard in the new QS Stars Rating System, the only university in Ireland to achieve this in 2021.
