Two board of high commissioners from Universities of Sulaimani visit IUT.

Isfahan University of Technology was hosted two board of high commissioners from University of Sulaimani (UOS) and Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) from Kurdistan region of Iraq on May 21, 2015 until May 24, 2015. Supervision of UOS board was with this university’s president, Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali and Dr. Alan F. Ali president of SPU was supervisor of this university’s board. During this visit, delegations of Sulaimani universities became familiar with scientific, educational and research capabilities of IUT and also had several meetings with IUT officials, negotiating about developing joint corporations between their universities and IUT and finally two memorandum of understandings was signed between IUT and above mentioned universities. The main provisions of these memorandums are about student and faculty exchange, holding joint workshops and seminars and information exchange. IUT also plans meetings between Sulaimani universities delegations and University of Isfahan, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Art University of Isfahan officials that lead to signing memorandum of understandings between these universities with Sulaimani universities, as well.
