The representative of the Alliance of 4 Universities of Spain (A-4U), Dr. Olga Belova, visited Isfahan University of Technology on July 8, 2017. Dr. Belova is the International Project Manager at A-4U and the main purpose of her visit from IUT was negotiating with IUT officials about putting the common MOU between IUT and A-4U (signed in 2015), into action.
During the visit of a delegation from Technical University of Madrid (UPM) from Isfahan University of Technology, the memorandum of understanding between two universities has been renewed.

Following the recent collaboration between Isfahan University of Technology and Chinese Academy of Science, Isfahan University of Technology hosted the first International Conference of SILK GIS during June 24-26, 2017.
Prof. Bernd Scholl, Professor of Spatial Development at ETH Zurich, had a scientific talk entitled “Swiss Planning Systems” at the Department of Natural Resources of Isfahan University of Technology, in May 2, 2017.
