Based on the 2025 version of the Times Higher Education World University Ranking, Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) has been ranked 601–800. This year 2029 top universities throughout the world participated in this ranking. Among the 80 Iranian Universities and Institutes consisting of Medical, Comprehensive, and Technology, IUT achieved 9th place, as like as last year. 
Times Higher Education has been independently ranking universities worldwide since 2010, and IUT has been included in this ranking since 2016.
The rankings methodology is calculated based on: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry, and International outlook.
