Isfahan University of Technology is ranked as one percent effective universties based on scientific citation.

According to data obtained from Thomson Reuters’s Essential Science Indicators database, Isfahan University of Technology is one of the one percent effective universities based on number of scientific citations in recent ten years.

Every two months, Thomson Reuters’s Essential Science Indicators database, publishes a list contains the ranking of 100 effective universities in the world which got the most scientific citations in recent ten years.

Concerning a report from Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), 30 Iranian universities, including Isfahan University of Technology, present in this ranking.

The number of citations to a country’s publications is a very important index that indicates the amount of reliance of scientific world on that country’s scientific activities.
