The fifth call of the Silk Road Science Fund (SRSF) for joint projects, in collaboration with Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Iran National Science Foundation (INSF), has been announced.

According to the 5th call, research activities in the form of "Joint Research and Development Projects" and " Joint Workshops" will be supported by the Silk Road Science Fund.

According to the Secretariat of Iran-Germany Science Day, the German Volkswagen Foundation has announced a call for funding research projects related to the COVID-19 Crisis and the social challenges associated with it.

Researchers can apply for a credit up to 120,000 euros for 18 months.

Applications are open for the Alexander von Humbolldt Research Fellowships 2021 for Postdoctoral Researchers.The Humbolldt Research Fellowships enable highly-qualified scientists and scholars who are embarking on their academic careers and who completed their doctorates less than four years ago to spend extended periods of research in Germany.Scientists and scholars from all disciplines and countries may apply and applications can be submitted at any time.

Swiss National Science Foundation launched the 2nd call on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19:

This program is a Swiss National Program which includes the possibility for co-investigators form abroad. The projects can be composed of up to four co-investigators for two-year projects. 

The program covers four modules: 

The effects of the current SARS-CoV-2 outbreak have shown that epidemics and pandemics cannot be managed on a solely national level; instead, the global framework needs to be taken into account. To be better prepared for the diverse aspects of global waves of infection, it is essential to support wide-ranging research across different disciplines. In addition to investigating the current pandemic, it is important to identify fundamental research questions that produce generalizable scientific findings.

Call for participation in Jundishapur research program in 2020 has been announced. The program is carried out annually by the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration together with the French Embassy's Department of Cultural Activities and Collaboration.

Jundishapur's research program began in 2004, and aims to promote and expand scientific research collaboration between researchers from Iran and France.
